I'm going to have to mull over this for a while.Believe me, it’s not by active choice that I’ve been leaving such long periods between reviews, it’s been out of necessity. There were moments of that in this, along with some big ideas that hit me hard, but it I'm not sure that it was even fair to expect it for lightning to strike twice like that.

Kan Gao is the best writer in games, for my money, and Finding Paradise in particular emotionally moved me more than just about any other game, book, poem, or movie that I've ever experienced. But considering the ? in the chapter array at the end, it obviously isn't the end. Kan retweeted something that said it was the last entry in the series, which'd be a big ?. If this is an interstitial thing, it makes a lot of sense. It wasn't what I expected, with some things gaining a lot from that ( no more weird orb puzzles, hell yeah!) and some things losing a lot from that ( man, I sure kept waiting for a Laura Shigihara song to kick in, leaving me kind of confused when the credits rolled!).
